After releasing the CTXMatrix Lite Ver1.0 and hearing from you, I’ve been working on the next step: CTXMatrix Lite Version 1.1.

One piece of feedback stood out—no one, including me, could reliably hear a difference between the different modes (A, B, and C). To really notice any subtle variations, you’d probably need proper binaural recordings played through the system. That’s actually great news, because it means the core performance is consistent and strong across the board.

So, in Version 1.1, I’m dropping the mode switch entirely and going with a single, optimized mode C. This simplifies the interface, reduces confusion, and means one less thing to tweak during setup—fewer headaches for all of us.

I also experimented with a few resonance correction EQ options. Personally, I think there’s room for improvement there, but so far, no users have complained about the sound quality, and most feedback has been really positive about the immersive 3D stage. I’ll keep that in mind for future updates, but for now, we’re sticking with what works well. Audio engineers could be very helpful here.

The biggest complaint I’ve heard is about recalibrating from scratch every time a new version comes out—losing all those carefully dialed-in settings and having to start over with the test files. I get it, that’s frustrating.

Good news: Version 1.1 will preserve your old settings and calibration files when you update. That said, because we’re removing the modes, some older calibrations might not load perfectly, so you’ll likely need to run through the calibration once more. The silver lining? If you note down your previous delay and attenuation values (or just remember the basics), you can breeze through the process in seconds and get back to listening.

Download Version 1.1 soon from the usual spot, and please share your thoughts—your input is what keeps driving these improvements. I think I will release it in June 2026.

Sorry for delay in replying your emails. Will do my best.

Cheers!
